You will file the Application for Certificate of Authority with the Secretary of State. The state does have a paper form available which can be mailed, delivered, or walked in to the Secretary of State's office for filing. There is also an online filing option.

What else do I need to include?A Certificate of Existence or Certificate of Good Standing from the state of incorporation must also be included. This must be dated within 90 days of your filing to Iowa.
